Question 483299
Discuss the effects that the level of confidence have on the confidence interval.
-----
The confidence interval is ALWAYS 2*ME
---
And ME = z*s/sqrt(n)
---
The level of confidence determines the value of "z".
If the level increases, z must increase.
As z increases, ME must increase because ME and z are directly proportional.
As ME increases the confidence interval gets wider,
i.e. we have more confidence when the interval is
wider. We can have absolute confidence if the
interval is infinitely wide.
