<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Put the data in ascending numerical order.

The first of the five number summary is the smallest number.

The last of the five number summary is the largest.

The third of the five number summary is the median. Since you have an even number of numbers, find the 5th and the 6th number in your ordered list, add them and divide by 2.

The second number of the five number summary is the first quartile. There are 5 numbers in the first half of the ordered data, so the first quartile is the third number of the ordered data.

The fourth number of the five number summary is the third quartile. There are 5 numbers in the second half of the data, so the third quartile is the 8th number in the ordered list.
