Question 475611
Don't do them on a calculator, figure them out.
Shouldn't you be more interested in knowing how to do them than getting the answers?
Maybe that's where you're going wrong.
------------------------------
log(3)5+log(3)X=log(3)10
Adding logs --> multiplying
{{{log(3,5x) = log(3,10)}}}
5x = 10
x = 2
-----------------
log(1/7)X=-1
Is 1/7 the base?
----------------
2ln3x+1=5
2ln(3x) = 4
ln(3x) = 2
{{{3x = e^2}}}
{{{x = e^2/3}}}
x =~ 2.463
---------------
log(3)0.1+2log(3)x=log(3)2+log(3)5
This is similar to the 1st one.
--------------------
log(b)9=2
--> b^2 = 9
b = 3
---------------
1/4log(2)16+1/2log(2)49=log(2)x
Similar to the 1st one.
-------------
3^n^-2=27
It's not clear what this means. Add parentheses.
--------------
2^2^n=16^-1
4^n = 1/16 = 4^-2
n = -2
--------------
4^3^x=10
64^x = 10
x*log(64) = 1
x = 1/log(64)
Use the calculator here.
------------------
2^e^x-5=1
Ambiguous. What's the exponent of e ?
