For the cost y to be split evenly among m workers.
Each worker would pay {{{y/m}}}
Since p workers did not pay, then the amount short is the sum of their shares
=>{{{p*(y/m)}}}
That amount then has to be split equally among remaining workers.
If p did not pay then (m-p) did pay.
So take the amount short and divide it by the remaining number of workers.
=> {{{(p*(y/m))/(m-p)}}} = {{{(py/m)/(m-p)}}} = {{{py/(m(m-p))}}}
