Question 466319
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

Presuming the living room and dining room are two rectangular rooms each with length and width dimensions, find the area of each by multiplying the length in feet times the width in feet. Add the two areas.

a) Multiply the total area by 5.89.

b) Multiply the total area by 8.89.

If the living/dining room is/are some other shape or configured so that you have to calculate dimensions, then all bets are off. No one can help you because you didn't bother to describe the shape and dimensions of the area you want to calculate. Nevertheless, once you are able to calculate the total area, the instructions for parts a) and b) above are still valid.
