Question 463686
I am stuck, I just cant figure out what to do with this problem. Your help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Q: Give the degree measure of theta.
theta=csc^-1(-2)
...
I believe this was meant to be written as,
theta=arc csc(-2)=arc sin (-1/2)
The sin function is negative in quadrants III & IV
The reference angle in these quadrants is 30º
So, theta in standard position=210º and 330º for (0<theta<360º)
