Question 462039
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

If you have 10L of 30% solution, then 3L must be salt. Since the salt stays put when you evaporate the liquid, after the evaporation, there will still be 3L of salt. In order to have a 50% solution with 3L of salt, you need 6L of salt water. 10 minus 6 is 4 Liters that need to evaporate.
