Question 462014
The symbol for "x squared" is x^2.
This is a polynomial. The domain of all polynomials is all real numbers. You can replace x with any real number and you will be able to find a y-value; that's how you know the domain is all real numbers. The domain of a function is not all real numbers when the function is rational-meaning a fraction with variables, a square root function, or other even roots.
