Question 461479
log(2+x)-log(x-5)=log 4
Rules for logarithms says that log(a) - log(b) = log(a/b).
So we get that
log((2+x)/(x-5))= log 4
Clearly
(2+x)/(x-5) = 4
2+x = 4*(x-5)
2+x = 4x - 20
x-4x = -20 -2
3x = -22
x = -22/3
x = 22/-3
