 check it through without violating the rule?

Find a shallow box that has 4 ft square base. find the diagonal of the base
d = {{{sqrt(4^2+4^2)}}}
d = {{{sqrt(32)}}}
d = 5.7 ft, the 5 ft rod will easily fit in the box
