Question 455451
Two numbers P and Q such that when divided by 6 ,they leave remainder 4 and 5 respectively.
find remainder when {{{(p^2+q^2)/6}}}
:
From the 1st sentence we can assume that Q = P+1
:
Assume that P = 10, then Q = 11
:
{{{(10^2 + 11^2)/6}}} = {{{(100+121)/6}}} {{{221/6}}} = 36 remainder of 5
:
Try it with another pair of numbers, P=22, Q=23, remainder is 5
