What a fascinating little quadratic function! What did you want to do with it? Remember, you have to tell us what you want. This is Algebra.com. It is NOT the Psychic Hot Line.

By the way, use the caret mark (^ - Shift 6) to indicate raising to a power. You can render your function as:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \] f(x) = -8^2 + 8x + 7

and everyone will understand that to mean:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ f(x)\ =\ -8^2\ +\ 8x\ +\ 7]

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
