Question 439993
"Describe the change" means what it literally means; it is not the same as solving. To change y = x^2 to y = (x-6)^2, you would shift the first equation to the right six units (not left). This is because the vertex of the new parabola occurs at x=6.

The red graph is y = x^2, the green graph is y = (x-6)^2:

{{{graph(300,300,-10,10,-10,10, x^2, (x-6)^2)}}}
