Question 433919
Find the zeros of the polynomial function and state the multiplicity of each:
f(x) = -5x^2 (x-9)(x+3)^3
----
Let y = 0 and solve for "x":
-5x^2 (x-9)(x+3)^3 = 0
---
-5x^2 = 0 or x-9 = 0 or (x+3)^3 = 0
----
So: x = 0 with multiplicity 2
or x = 9 with multiplicity 1
or x = -3 with multiplicity 3
