Question 433088
{{{ sqrt(3)*x^2 = -18 }}}
First multiply both sides by {{{ sqrt(3) }}}
{{{ 3*x^2 = -18*sqrt(3) }}}
Now divide both sides by {{{3}}}
{{{ x^2 = -6*sqrt(3) }}
Take the square root of both sides
{{{ x = sqrt( -6*sqrt(3)) }}}
{{{ x = sqrt(-1) * sqrt(6) * root(4,3) }}}
{{{ x = sqrt(6) * root(4,3) *i }}}
There is also a negative square root which
is this answer with a minus sign.
