Question 432603
The way I see it, their ages can never add up to 150, unless we are counting half-years. Right now, the sum of their ages is 55+34=89. And the sum of their ages will ALWAYS be an odd number, no matter how many years pass. Right now their ages are Odd-Even. If we add an even number of years, the combination is also Odd-Even. If we add an odd number of years, the combination is Even-Odd. Either way, we get an odd number.
