Question 429526
With each jump, the dog gains 1 m on the rabbit. For example, after the first jump the rabbit is 47 m from the dog's starting position,
while the dog is 3 m away from his starting position.
The distance between them is now 44 m.
So, to make up the total separation of 45 m, 45 jumps would be required.
To actually overtake the rabbit, it would require one more jump, for a total of 46.
