Question 426946
The slope in the general formula
y=mx+b is m and  the y-intercept is b.
so
(i) m=1 and b=2
(ii) {{{m=-1/6}}} and {{{b=-1/2}}}.
For an extent view the slope is{{{m=y/x}}} in the equation y=mx and every other one of the form y=mx+b ,
so if you plug x=0 you have {{{y=m*0+b}}} that is y=b.
And the point (0,b) is on the y-axis...and belongs to graph of the equation...
