Question 426930
I just solved this problem. Note that the slope of a line is how much y changes for each change in x, and the y-intercept occurs when the graph intersects the y-axis, or when x=0.

The y = mx+b form is the most common form for a linear equation, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept (note that y and g(x) are the same thing because they both denote functions in terms of x). Since g(x) is in y = mx+b form we have m = -5 and b = 7.
