Question 426296
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

This function is symmetric about the y-axis. -1 gets you to the same function value as 1.

No exponential equation is symmetric to the y-axis, and only a purely horizontal line would be symmetric to the y-axis. The model must be a quadratic.

Check: Square -1 to get 1 times 2.2 is 2.2

Square 0 to get 0 times 2.2 is 0

Square 1 to get 1 times 2.2 is 2.2

Square 2 to get 4 times 2.2 is 8.8

and so on.
