Question 425294
<font face="Times New Roman" size="+2">

You have a little 'oopsie' right at the beginning.

When you distribute the -5 across (x - 6) you should get -5x + 30 (minus times minus is plus).

So your next step is:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 12x\ -\ 25\ >\ 3x\ -\ 5x\ +\ 30]

So the step after that is:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 12x\ >\ 3x\ -\ 5x\ +\ 55]

Then you went on trying to collect like terms with the variable, but you just dropped a 5x somewhere.

I would first combine the 3x - 5x in the RHS.

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 12x\ >\ -2x\ +\ 55]

Then add 2x to both sides

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 14x\ >\ 55]

Finally, divide both sides by 14 leaving you with an irreducible improper fraction that, although quite correct, is uglier than a mud fence.

Write back if you need help with the set builder notation part.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
