Question 44539
THE PROBLEM IS NOT CLEAR..PLEASE MAKE A SKETCH
Given: m<9= 2x+17; m<11= 5x-94
I TAKE IT YOU MEAN
2X+7=M<9........................I
5X-94=M<11.................II
THEN EQN.I HOLDS,AS IF M<9 ,IT IS OBVIOUSLY<11
SO THE SOLUTION SATISFYING BOTH IS
2X+7<9
2X<9-7=2
X<1 IS THE ANSWER

Find: x
What I have tried is taking m<9 =m<11 so 2x+17=5x-94 then I took the 2x+17 and moved it to the other side: 5x-94+2x+17=0 simply 7x-77=0. I think this maybe where I'm making a mistake. Can you Help me solve this equation to find x?
