Like Livingstone said to Stanley, "Safari, so goodie"

Seriously though, except for one little typo, you have done everything correctly. The last step you show should look like:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x\ +\ x\ -\ 4\ +\ x\ +\ 6\ \geq\ 29]

(6 instead of 8)

Then it is exactly like solving the analogous equation (except that if you ever have to multiply by a negative, you have to reverse the sense of the inequality sign, greater than becomes less than or vice versa).

Collect terms:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 3x\ +\ 2\ \geq\ 29]

Add -2 to both sides:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ 3x\ \geq\ 27]

Multiply by *[tex \Large \frac{1}{3}]:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ x\ \geq\ 9]

By the way, if you need to render *[tex \Large \geq] or *[tex \Large \leq] in plain text use >= or <=.

John
*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
