Question 420728
Surface Area of a Sphere. The surface area of a
sphere with radius r is 4 pi r sqared. Write a polynomial that
gives the surface area of a sphere with radius x + 2
Leave your answer in terms of pi. ???
This is what I came up with, but am not sure.
4(pi)(x + 2)squared
4pi (x sqrd. + 4)
4pixsqrd. + 16
----------------
{{{Area = 4*pi*r^2 = 4*pi*(x+2)^2}}}
= {{{4*pi*(x^2 + 4x + 4)}}}
