Hi
4cos 60 degrees + 3 tanpi/6 = {{{4*(1/2) + 3(1/2)/(sqrt(3)/2) = 2 + 3/sqrt(3)}}}
Simplifying by removing the radical in the denominator:
that is: Multiplying both numerator and denominator by {{{sqrt(3)}}}
 {{{2 + 3/(sqrt(3))= 2 + 3*sqrt(3)/(sqrt(3)*sqrt(3))= 2 + 3*sqrt(3)/3 = 2 + sqrt(3)}}}
Perhaps this (cosx,sinx) Summary would be of help to You, in Your studies
