Question 413801
Please help me solve this equation:1) 4n^3+8n^2-60n
I have to write an expression in factored form.
I have tried by dividing the whole equation by 4n and I got a result of 4n(n^2+2n-15) after that I found a factors of -15 that equaled to 2 and I got 5 and -3. After that I wrote the equation 4n(n^2+5n-3n-15).
This is the point I get stuck at.
:
You have done most of the work
:
You have 4n(n^2 + 2n - 15)
Then you factor n^2 + 2n - 15 to (n+5)(n-3), right?
:
The factored form would be: 4n(n + 5)(n - 3)
