Hi
sum of two numbers is -5 and their product is 6 (-3 and -2 would work)
finding algebraically
Let x and (-5-x) represent the numbers
    x(-5-x) = 6
  -5x - x^2 = 6
    x^2 + 5x + 6 = 0
   (x+2)(x+3) = 0
   (x+2)=0 x = -2 and (-5-(-2) = -3
   (x+3)=0 x = -3 and (-5-(-3) = -2
CHECKING our Answer***
  -3(-2) = 6
