As far as I can tell, there are no negative exponents to begin with.<br>
If there were some negative exponents, I would suggest:<ol><li>Simplify as much as possible, without worrying about negative exponents.</li><li>If your simplified expression has negative exponents (Sometimes the negative exponents disappear during step 1), then replace each expression that has a negative exponent with it reciprocal. (In general {{{a^(-n) = 1/a^n}}})</li></ol>
