One way to do this is to first draw the unit circle centered at (0,0) and then plot the point that corresponds to the angle 225 degrees that lies on the circle. Basically, divide the 3rd quadrant in half (along the line y = x) and where the line and the circle intersect is where the point lies.



Note: {{{cos(225) = -sqrt(2)/2}}} and {{{sin(225) = -sqrt(2)/2}}}
