Question 405059
Solve
{{{((4-v))/((9-v))}}} = {{{5/((v-9))}}}
make the two fraction have the same denominator, factor out -1, that changes the signs
{{{((4-v))/(-1(v-9))}}} = {{{5/((v-9))}}}
which is
{{{-((4-v))/((v-9))}}} = {{{5/((v-9))}}}
If we multiply both sides by (v-9) we just have:
-(4-v) = 5
Removing the brackets changes the signs
-4 + v = 5
Add 4 to both sides
v = 5 + 4
v = 9, however, all is for naught, because that would make division by 0, no solution
