Question 401002
3*log(2,8)
In words, this says: "What is 3 times the exponent to the base 2 that gives me 8?"
I can multiply by 3 later, so I simplify by saying:
 "What is the exponent to the base 2 that gives me 8?"
Now I say the same thing, but using the fact {{{8 = 2^3}}}
 "What is the exponent to the base 2 that gives me {{{2^3}}}?"
It is obvious that {{{3}}} is the exponent to the base 2 that gives me {{{2^3}}}
So far my answer is {{{3}}}. Now I need to multiply it by {{{3}}}
{{{3*3 = 9}}} answer
