Question 398924
if a triangle is 40 degrees and one side 120 degrees is it equilateral, isosceles, or scalene. Can someone please show me how to do this I do not
understand it at all

I think the answer would become clear when you realize that the three angles of a triangle will always=180 deg. So, if one angle is 120 deg and the other given angle is 40 deg, you only have left over 180-(120+40)=40 deg which must be the third angle. So, this must be an isosceles triangle angles 120, 40, and 40 degrees.
