Question 397500
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

You don't. It is impossible to solve an equation if you don't have an equation in the first place. However, you <i><b>can</b></i> determine the solution set for your inequality.

Multiply both sides by *[tex \Large \frac{3}{2}]

Add *[tex \Large -12] to both sides.

Multiply both sides by *[tex \Large -1] but remember to reverse the sense of the inequality because you multiplied by a negative number.

If you did these steps correctly, you should have *[tex \Large x] by itself in the LHS, a "<" sign, and then a positive integer in the RHS.

*[tex \LARGE e^{i\pi} + 1 = 0]
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
