Question 395043
Hi there!

Problem:
{{{(1+9/10) + (3+7/10)}}}

To solve this problem, you have to make sure the denominator is the same. In this problem, it is the same.

If the denominators are the same, you can add the numerators together and keep the denominator the same.

Then, you can begin.

First, if you add the two mix numbers together, you will get {{{4+16/10}}}

The fraction {{{4+16/10}}} can be simplified to {{{5+6/10}}}

Notice that you can reduce the fraction even further : {{{6/10 = 3/5}}}

So, the answer is {{{5+3/5}}}

Answer: {{{5+3/5}}}
