I'm assuming that Q and q are two different variables (ie I'm assuming that there isn't a capitalization error)

{{{Q-2.34=q}}} Subtract 2.34 from both sides.



{{{q=Q-2.34}}} Rearrange the equation.



So the solution is {{{q=Q-2.34}}}
