The only requirements of set C to make *[Tex \LARGE A \cap C = B] is that set C must have the elements 'a' and 'c' (since set A has these two elements as well). Other than that, set C can have ANYTHING else.


So for instance, one such set could be 


C = {a,b,c,e}


or it could be


C = {a,c,r,q}


or it could be


C = {a,b,c,w,x,y,z}



And it goes on. It doesn't matter as long as 'a' and 'c' are in there. So this means that C is NOT unique.
