Hi,
Using the point-slope formula, {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}
Note: may help in comparing y and x values to write the points as follows:
(2,1),
(0,0)  m = 1/2                  | {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}

(4,5),
(6,2)  m = 3/-2 = -(3/2)    | {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}

(3,8),
(7,3)  m = 5/-4 = -(5/4)     | {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}

(1,0),
(-4,2)  m = -2/5 = -(2/5     | {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}

(8,-4),
(-6,-3)  m = -1/14           | {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}

(-2,-3),(6,5)  m = 8/8 = 1        | {{{m =(y[2] - y[1])/(x[2] - x[1])}}}

do alway recommend checking the arithmetic
