Question 391475
<font face="Garamond" size="+2">

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ y = \log_b(x) \ \ \Rightarrow\ \ b^y = x]

So:

*[tex \LARGE \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ y = \log_9(x) \ \ \Rightarrow\ \ 9^y = x]

And it is "logarithm" not "logaithm" [sic]. Sorry to disabuse you of the erroneous notion that your elementary school teachers put in your head because they were afraid of damaging your fragile self-esteem, but spelling <i><b>does</b></i> count. So does grammar, syntax, punctuation, and capitalization, to name a few.
