Hi,
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line: y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
Determining if lines are perpendicular. that is: slopes being negative reciprocals.
 y= 6x-9 Slope of this line = 6 (line prependicular, would have slope -(1/6)
 5y=9-x
  y = -x/5 + 9/5  Slope of this line is -(1/5)
Lines are not perpendicular to one another on a graph
{{{graph( 300, 300,-10,10,-10,10,6x-9,-x/5 + 9/5) }}}
