Question 379934
If you're referring to {{{root(n,x)=x}}} when n is odd, the answer is no. In other words, it's not essential, but it's always a good idea to check. Why isn't checking needed? Because the domain of {{{root(n,x)}}} is the set of all real numbers when n is odd, which means that no extraneous solutions will occur when n is odd. Despite the fact that checking isn't essential, checking your answers is a good habit.
