Question 41490
well it's length *height, but in the special case of a square, simply 1 side times itself, because the length and the height of the square are <i>always</i> equal. I thought at first you meant one square with the sides 5, 10, 12, and 15 cm; but that would be impossible, because the entire point of a square is to have all of its sides equal. I hereby assume there are four squares:
that with one side at the length of 5 has all sides of 5, because it's a square, so all sides need to be equal. {{{5^2=5*5=25}}}, your answer is 25.
{{{10:10^2=10*10=100}}} as you can see, for 10, the area is {{{10^2}}}, or 100.
{{{12:12^2=12*12=144}}}
{{{15:15^2=15*15=225}}}
that's it, simple enough, but ask if u have any questions.
ps:{{{S^2}}} means <b>any</b> of a square's sides to the second power.
