Question 376410

If you are going 70 miles per hour, in one hour you go 70 miles. That's what miles per hour means -- the number of miles you travel in one hour. So if you go 70 miles in one hour, you must go half of that distance in one-half hour. 70 miles in the first hour plus half of 70 in the subsequent half hour.
