Question 374619
solve logarithmic equation

log(3+x)-log(x-4)=log2
  Sol'n:
   from log a - log b = log (a/b)
  then,
   log [(3+x)/(x-4)]= log 2, then take the antilog on both side,
   3+x/x-4 = 2
   3+x = 2(x-4)
   3+x = 2x-8
   x = 11 ---answer
