Question 371845
Find the radius of a cylinder if the lateral surface area is 36 (I think it is the pie symbol,
 it looks like a small cursive n with a line on top of it) cm squared and the height of the cylinder is 3 cm.
:
Lateral surface area:
{{{2*pi*r*h = A}}}
;
h=3; and {{{A = 36*pi}}}
{{{2*pi*r*3}}} = {{{36*pi}}}
divide both sides by {{{2*pi}}}; results:
3r = 18
r = 6 cm
