A boat's crew rowed 12 miles downstream, with the current, in 2 hours. The return trip upstream, against the current, covered the same distance, but took 3 hours. Find the crew's rowing rate in still water and the rate of current. 

I know that the boat crew rowed 6 miles per hour during current,but I don't know the rate in still water.

The current is the difference, = 1 mph
