Question 368806
Well, the simple way to explain it is simply to multiply 3 by 4 by 2 and get 24 combinations...let me explain that logically to you...

For every one of four shirts, he can wear one of two belts...so that is eight different combinations.

For every pair of pants, he can wear any of the eight combos of shirt and belt. Since he has 3 pair of pants, 3 times 8 gives the same 24 combinations.
