Question 359802
In a tub of Halloween candy, all but 16 are Snickers, all but 16 are Milky Ways, and but 16 are Plain M & M’s, and all but 18 are Peanut M & M’s. How many of each type of candy bars are in the tub?
-----------------------
Total number of bars is S+MW+PMM+pMM
-----
Equations:
0 + MW + PMM + pMM = 16
S + 0  + PMM + pMM = 16
S + MW + 0   + pMM = 16
S + MM + PMM + 0   = 18
-------------------
I used a matrix function on a TI-84 and got
Snickers  = 6
Milky Way = 6
Plain MM  = 6
Peanut MM = 4
-----------------------------
