Question 359689
Bob owns a watch shop. He is open 5 days a week. he has figured out over the years that the cost of operating his his shop is C(x)=2x^2-57+26 where x is the number of watches repaired. What is the daily cost of running the shop if the number of watches repaired is 50?
------------------
It's not specified that the cost is per day, per week, or what.
The only number given is 50, and it asks for the cost per day. That implies that it's a daily cost.
----------------
Sub 50 for x and find C
C(x)=2x^2-57+26
C(50) = 2*50^2 -57 + 26 (should that be 57x ?)
C(50) = 2500 - 57 + 26
C(50 = 2469
It's not clear if that's $2469, or $24.69 either.
Poorly written problem.
