Question 355812

Volume of solid is equally varies by length, width and height.

actually the volume is directly proportional to the each of dimension i.e

length, width and height.

it means, if any dimension is changed by x times then its volume will be also changed by x times.

for example

if length is increased by 2 times, volume will be also increased by 2 times.

if width is decreased by 1/2 times, volume will also decreased by 1/2 times.

according to question,

the length is doubled, the width is tripled and the height is doubled,

so volume will be 2 * 3 *2 times of original volume

hence, we got the value : 12
