Question 353614
{{{ -(3x/4)=(9/2)}}} ok so first thing i would do is multiply each side by 4 (which is the least common denominator), this will help us get rid of yucky fractions.
{{{ -(3x/4)*4=(9/2)*4}}} so the 4's on the left cancel and the 4 on the right cancels with 2 on the bottom (4/2=2) so you just get the 2 left on top from the canceling.

{{{ -3x=9*2}}} simplify

{{{ -3x=18}}} divide both sides by -3, and you get
{{{ x=-6}}}
